It was all smiles at the last game of the season for Bingham Under 11 Girls as the team narrowly lost to Gedling Southbank at Whatton Sports Ground in Aslockton. A full squad of 16-girls attended and participated in a highly contested and very tight game.

As the girls look forward to staying together for the new season which will see a few rule changes come into effect they can reflect on a very good development campaign. Ably assisted and coached by an excellent backroom team the whole squad has done so well this year. There is a great team spirit and camaraderie within the group as they head into the summer break and a few competitions to measure themselves on other Notts teams.

Afterwards the team, was kindly given tickets to attend the City Ground in Nottingham to watch the Forest Ladies clinch the National League Championship in their last game, a thumping 6-2 win against West Bromwich Albion.

Farrell Transport are delighted to be associated with Bingham Town, adds Andrew Spencer (senior manager). We’ve watched you with interest and seen the individual and overall improvement from the squad. We look forward to extending our support into next season. In the meantime, girls enjoy the close season, and we’ll see you back refreshed and ready for September!
