Farrell Transport has a vacancy for a full-time permanent Warehouse Supervisor.
We are re-structing our warehouse operation and seek a highly professional and focused individual to work with and supervise our Warehouse team.
Our day-to-day requirement covers an extremely busy network operation during the morning and evening with general warehouse duties in between. This will include container devanning, picks and preparation of freight for transit.
The successful individual will have:
– A background in warehousing and transport
– Good communication skills
– A proactive mindset
– A basic knowledge of Health & Safety processes
– A basic knowledge of First Aid*
– A knowledge of using standard WMS
*First Aid refresher courses will be offered within the initial 6-months of employment
Responsibilities will include:
– Maintaining team efficiencies and deadlines
– Assisting management with daily workflow allocation
– Yard management, overseeing vehicle discharging/re-loading
– Liaison with warehouse admin/management

We are a 20-year shareholder member of one of the UK’s leading pallet networks, transhipping over 700-pallets per day utilising our 40+ strong vehicle fleet.Our site is 15-acre freehold with close to 100,000 square foot of internal warehousing and a potential 50,000 external (not yet in effect). We operate a dual ramp in-feed container receipt and devanning process.We offer a full RH& D operation using modern plant and machinery backed up by a full Warehouse Management System.

Job Type – Full Time/Permanent
Hours: Not to exceed 50-hours per week, typical 45-hours
Days: Monday to Friday
Holiday Entitlement: 23-days
Probation Period – 3-months
Salary – competitive defined by experience of applicant
Shifts – Probable weekly rotation to cover complete working day after full training

– Counterbalance FLT licence (up to 3-tonnes)
– Bendi/Reach truck experience
