Founded by current managing director Robert Farrell, from humble owner operator beginnings the business offered reliable road haulage throughout the UK.
To complement the business Farrell Transport ventured into the pallet network industry which has enabled the business to offer a more comprehensive and dynamic nationwide delivery for smaller consignments. The long-standing association with Pallet-Track has enabled the business to diversify into different markets.
Saw our move to the current site in Staunton-in-the-Vale which is a 15-acre freehold site with 100,000sq ft of internal warehousing along with 50,000+ sq. ft of external hard-standing and our own fully fitted maintenance workshop.
With our pallet network volumes increasing the business commissioned Spaciotempo to construct a 40-metre free span transit canopy, the first of its kind at the time. This investment enables us to safely load and unload 8-double decks trailers protected against the elements.
The business created a new senior management structure to continue the family friendly ethos of the business through fleet and facility modernisation programs and strategies which will future proof the business through the next 20+ years.
Today Farrell Transport is a multi-faceted logistics organisation offering a complete and comprehensive range of logistical solutions, warehousing, fulfilment, express UK and European delivery through 40+ vehicles and 50 employees.
