Farrell Transport are delighted to announce a sponsorship involvement with Bingham Town Football Club Under 11 Girls Team. The team are affiliated to the Football Association and play in the Nottinghamshire Girls and Ladies Football League (Charter Standard).
The playing group have been together for several years and have recently moved this season from 7-A Side to 9-A Side adding new players to the squad as it caters to the increasing demands as the development league goes through the age groups.
The girls home ground is Butt Field in Bingham which is an epicentre of sports activity for up to 46 teams of boys and girls, with girls and women now numbering over 200-players (30%) of the teams. There is a clear and positive club ethic that all teams and players enjoy with excellent social and development processes provided by the coaches, support staff and parents.
Speaking on behalf of Farrell Transport, Andrew Spencer (senior manager) says “it’s a privilege to support the girls in the local community. Farrell’s are a Bingham company founded nearly 40-years ago by Robert Farrell who still lives in the village. We believe it is important to help support our community and junior grass roots football is an ideal way to do it”
Girls and ladies’ football is in the ascendancy over the past few years with the success of the national women’s team and the rising stature of the Women’s Super League (WSL), Farrell’s are proud to be associated with Bingham Town!
