Farrell Transport Senior Manager Chris Goodyear with Phil Shaw-Browne of Mertrux Nottingham.

Farrell Transport is proud to announce the arrival of a new addition to our Staunton fleet, marking another milestone in our continued investment in quality and performance.

The first four of five brand-new Mercedes-Benz Actros 2551 LS Giga Space tractor units, supplied by Mertrux of Nottingham, have officially joined our operations. These state-of-the-art vehicles are part of a broader fleet expansion strategy, with further units expected to arrive this autumn.

Alongside the Actros units, we’ve also welcomed four SDC 3-axle curtain-side trailers with tail lifts. These versatile trailers will enhance our capabilities across general haulage and bulk pallet network operations, helping us better serve a wide range of clients.

Built on Reliability

Commenting on the new arrivals, Director Robert Farrell said:

“For close to 40 years, the business has exclusively purchased Mercedes-Benz vehicles. I firmly believe these trucks stand the test of time and the rigours of what general haulage can throw at them.

Whilst they may not be the cheapest on the market, I believe they have no equal in terms of reliability and durability. That gives us terrific peace of mind and a solid platform to work from.”

This latest investment reaffirms our long-standing commitment to quality, reliability, and operational excellence in the transport and logistics sector.
